I recently had an intermittent issue with my 2017 Ford Flex that only showed up when the engine was cold, which made it a real pain to diagnose. Instead of guessing or throwing parts at it, Jose took the time to actually reproduce the problem, he even drove out to my house so he could do a cold start test drive and catch it happening in real time, rather than just going off my description. Once he tracked down the cause, he only did the repair that was actually needed. No upselling, no padding the invoice with extra "recommended" work. On top of that, communication was excellent the whole way through, quick replies to calls and texts, no chasing him for updates. If you've got a car problem that's hard to pin down, this is exactly the kind of mechanic you want handling it. Highly recommend.

Professional service, quality work and on time I personally recommend this shop,Jose’s and son rebuild and installed my transmission in no time drove it to Mexico on a 24hrs drive and not a single issue,Iam very pleased with the results,can’t wait to drop off my next one, thanks again guys,God bless you’ll 🏽

Double the stars for this review. *Very* fair prices, communicates well as the work progresses, and the most honest mechanic I have ever met besides my husband. But the absolute reason why I will keep coming back if I ever need work again is that I was able to talk parts, procedures, etc without ever being treated like I didn't know anything about cars. As someone who has had to suffer too many condescending mechanics, Jose and his dad are true gems for women, or anyone, looking for repairs. We have a 2008 Toyota Matrix with low miles that had been throwing a torque converter code. Other mechanics and transmission shops were throwing around replacing the entire transmission. Jose knew what often goes wrong with this model, and repaired the issue for less than a third of the cost of a rebuilt transmission. He also found some other issues typical for an older car, like a torn boot, that since the transmission was out he could easily fix. He charged such a low price for these "while I am here" repairs that I frankly felt guilty about paying so little. All the time, I must impress, he was extremely professional and communicative. I have done enough backyard mechanic work to know what he was talking about for the transmission repair and additional suggested repairs, and felt very confident in his recommendations and work. I was so impressed, I arranged for him to replace my transmission fluid in my Hyundai Ioniq when we picked up the Matrix. Word to the wise: his shop is clean and organized, but small. With limited bays, and being so good they are full, be sure to make an appointment if you can manage. Thanks Jose Jr and Sr and crew! You were awesome!

5 Stars Indeed! I can’t say enough good things about Jose’s Transmissions. After a pleasant, professional and informative phone call w/ Jose, I towed my 2003 Jeep Liberty to his shop for a transmission overhaul. From start to finish Jose was transparent, communicative, knowledgeable and again, professional throughout the entire repair process. What mechanic, especially in Vegas, provides real time video updates of the work on your vehicle? Jose’s Transmissions, that’s who. The repair was completed on the date he stated; he provided a detailed explanation of the repairs performed along w/ the return of my old parts! All is well @ this time. I’ve yet to drive on the highway yet, Jose assured me there shouldn’t be any problems; he warranted his work for 1yr. Currently pleased! Continued Blessings to you and yours Jose.
