ABOUT OUR CONTENT
WassupVegas Editorial Standards
How we choose what to cover
We prioritize questions people actually have while planning or living in Las Vegas: where to go, what is worth the price, what is open, how neighborhoods differ, what changed, and what someone should know before they arrive.
Original value first
Our best guides should include original observations, practical comparisons, first-hand or locally verified information, useful maps, current pricing or hours when appropriate, and clear explanations of who a recommendation is best for. We do not publish thin rewrites simply to target search terms.
Freshness and corrections
Vegas changes quickly. Time-sensitive guides should show meaningful update dates and be reviewed when venues close, prices materially change, schedules move or recommendations no longer make sense. We correct factual errors when identified.
Editorial independence
Premium listings, advertising and sponsorship help support WassupVegas, but payment does not buy a positive review or undisclosed editorial recommendation. Sponsored placements and commercial relationships should be clearly disclosed.
Reviews and ratings
Third-party ratings are context, not our editorial verdict. WassupVegas should distinguish sourced customer-review information from our own reporting and recommendations.
Affiliate links
Some ticket, hotel or booking links may earn WassupVegas a commission. Where applicable, we disclose that relationship. Affiliate economics should not determine whether a place deserves editorial inclusion.
Who we serve
WassupVegas is for both visitors and Las Vegas locals. Our standard is simple: after reading, the person should know more, decide faster, and have less reason to search somewhere else.
