Target and the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada are set to host a private back-to-school shopping event for 75 Las Vegas students on Monday, July 27. The two-hour event is designed to help local families cover some of the essentials that come with a new school year.

FOX5 Las Vegas reported that the event will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at an undisclosed Target store. Attendance is invitation-only, so there is no public registration or drop-in opportunity.

What participating students will receive

Each student is scheduled to receive a $100 Target gift card, a Champion backpack, school supplies, a reusable water bottle and snacks. Students will then shop with their families using dedicated checkout lanes.

Target’s 2026 community fact sheet lists Las Vegas among 20 cities hosting similar shopping events throughout July and August. The company says the program connects students with supplies and other essentials through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations.
