Luv this walk through Preserve! They will lend you binoculars, which were better than my mini one. Migratory birds we were told were coming in. We even got to see Tino the tortoise that didn't come out the last visits. Highly recommend for an hour plus experience. Nice photos.

So many birds! Primarily waterfowl and perching birds. Also saw two Roadrunners and a convey of Quail! And a Rabbit! We went when it was raining and it was lovely! Some paved paths, occasional benches and bird hides.

A true oasis in the desert, chock full of birds. I've never seen so many hummingbirds in one place. Friendly staff can point out what's been spotted recently. You can borrow a pair of binoculars too! Our favorite was the roadrunner who accompanied us along one of the trails for a bit, and the large flock of quail zipping along the ground trying to stay out of sight. I even spotted a hawk resting in the shade on the ground behind some bushes, and Tino the tortoise was out and about.
