I really wanted to have a good experience, but unfortunately, I left bawling my eyes out. I took some time before writing this review so that I wouldn't act on emotion. I went in early June to get my hair lightened and a layered cut from Lizzett. After washing my hair, I realized my hair was completely botched (to the point that another hair stylist asked if I cut and colored my own hair at home). The salon manager got me in for another haircut with a different stylist to fix the cut, but he had to cut off 6 inches to correct it. While I appreciate them comping the haircut, this doesn't change the fact that I paid $550 to hate my hair. I never even got an apology from the girl that ruined it in the first place. I gave two stars instead of one for the salon at least trying to remedy it. Unfortunately, you can't uncut hair and I know they won't be comping 2k worth of hair extensions, so I just have to wait for my hair to grow back.

From the consultation to drying, I felt beautiful in my natural hair and relaxed. I love how she styled my hair at the end and feel confident to recreate the look at home after she gave me some tips and tricks. Thank you Selena for my cut and style, I can’t wait to show everyone your magic!
