Mother Wolf Las Vegas

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this restaurant and the overall experience was mediocre and disappointing. We go to Vegas 2-3 times a year and generally stay at Aria and Cosmo. The hotels at City Center are feeling tired. So, coming in, we wanted badly to love this restaurant as an alternative to Scarpetta at a newer hotel. The food was just ok, the service was weird and rude, and so the full experience was disappointing. We made a reservation 2 months in advance for standard seating, and they ended up seating us at the bar. They sat a lesbian couple next to us, a gay couple, also in the bar seating. Honestly, it was probably just careless, but it felt like they may have just decided to bump the gays to the bar. There was a conference at the hotel, so it's more likely that they bumped us from the standard seating that we reserved to give it to the conference attendees. Still not a great feeling either way. We worked with the sommelier to order an Italian wine. We shared our California wine preferences to help the sommelier educate us on Italian wine and find something to enjoy. She really struggled. I said the exact same lines that I say at Scarpetta. For some reason, they just couldn't get there and our $250 wine was also disappointing. The squash blossoms were really bland, but the spaghetti was the only real bright spot. It could have made it all worth it if the service and seating wasn't so disappointing . Because we were at the bar tables, the waiter had to interact with the couple sitting next to us when helping us. The tables were so close together, we ended up just getting to know our neighbors. We bonded over how bad the experience was overall and how bland the squash blossoms were. We all agreed everything was just ok. We are vegetarians and asked to add burrata to the spaghetti. The waiter rudely said back to me, "the kitchen won't do that." I also asked if we could split the pasta, and he rudely said the same thing, "the kitchen won't do that for you either. I can bring you small plates and you can do it yourself." One of the things that makes Vegas great is being able to get whatever you want and to be accommodated. We weren't trying to save money, we just didn't want to waste food we couldn't eat on a glp-1 diet. Then, as we ordered the rest of our meal, he eventually said, "would you like me to do a side order of burrata for you?" Why wouldn't he just lead with that more nicely when originally asked instead of making me feel bad about it? I have never had any issues splitting dishes at other restaurants in Vegas, and they normally will even plate the half portions separately for us. Maybe the restaurant would have been better if we weren't moved to the bar seating? Overall, we came in knowing we were getting a nice bottle of red wine, planning to spend $400-$500. It was the most disappointing part of the trip, and unfortunately may not be worth us giving the Fontainebleu a 2nd shot. We are going to go all in again at the Wynn and see if that wins us over next time before heading back to City Center and Scarpetta.

Loved the focaccia, fresh pasta, and my Sole Infinito drink. Our server was amazing and the vibes are AMAZING inside!

If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I would without hesitation. From the moment we walked through the doors, every single detail exceeded every expectation. The ambiance was absolutely stunning—elegant, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable dining experience. Every aspect of this restaurant radiates excellence. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It's rare to find a restaurant where every bite leaves you wanting more, but this place accomplished exactly that. The complimentary chef appetizers were such an unexpected and thoughtful touch, setting the tone for what became one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. What truly made the evening exceptional was our incredible server, Jessica. She was attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had the perfect experience. Every recommendation she made was absolutely spot-on, and her timing, professionalism, and attention to detail were flawless. Jessica elevated an already phenomenal meal into something truly unforgettable. She is an incredible asset to this restaurant and deserves every bit of recognition for the outstanding service she provides. I've dined at many wonderful restaurants, but this is, without question, one of the finest I've ever experienced. They didn't miss a single detail—from the impeccable service, to the breathtaking atmosphere, to the unforgettable food. Excellence was evident in every moment. This is the kind of restaurant that stays with you long after you've left. I'll genuinely be dreaming about this place and counting down the days until I can return. Thank you to the entire team, especially Jessica and the chef, for creating such a memorable evening. You have earned lifelong customers.

There aren't enough words to describe the food, service, and atmosphere at Mother Wolf. It deserves all the accolades imaginable. Victor was my server and he was truly an expert on the dishes and beverages. The staff never missed an opportunity to refill a water glass or replace a used utensil. They pay attention to detail here and are adequately staffed to do so! The food was truly next level. It was the best pasta I have had outside of Italy.
