My wife and I recently stayed at The Cosmopolitan from October 1st through the 4th, and one of the highlights of our trip was definitely Vesper Bar! We've been to Vegas plenty of times, but Vesper continues to be one of our favorite spots for great cocktails and an amazing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Casey (or Kci), who took our experience to another level! Hands down, some of the best drinks and customer service we've had in Las Vegas. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and really knew how to make a great cocktail. We enjoyed his service so much that we made it a point to stop by every single day of our stay! That's how you know someone is doing an outstanding job. The atmosphere, drinks, and hospitality were all top-notch. It's employees like Casey who make a place memorable and keep customers coming back. If you're staying at The Cosmopolitan or just visiting Vegas, I highly recommend stopping by Vesper Bar. And if Casey is working, you're in great hands! Thank you, Casey, for making our Vegas trip even better! We'll definitely be back! 🍸🥂

Unfortunately a really disappointing interaction with a bartender called Geno. We were playing in the casino and had ordered a vodka cranberry through one of the cocktail waitresses. When it arrived, it seemed to have no vodka in it. It wasn’t a big deal, and rather than trying to find the waitress again, I went over to the bar and politely asked if the drink could be remade. From the very start, Geno’s attitude was unnecessarily dismissive. I was standing there holding the drink and asked if he could remake it, and his response was, “Yes, if you let go of it,” as though I was somehow preventing him from helping. It immediately came across as sarcastic and confrontational for no reason. We obviously didn’t realise that drinks ordered on the casino floor are made at a separate service bar. Geno then asked what I wanted him to do with the drink, so I explained again that I was simply asking if it could be remade. He topped it up with something from the soda gun, and when I asked why he hadn’t added vodka, he said he couldn’t hear me and told me I should “speak up like a man.” That comment was completely unnecessary. I had been polite throughout the interaction, so there was no reason to make it personal or try to belittle me. He eventually explained that he couldn’t remake the drink because it hadn’t come from his bar. That is completely fair and would have been absolutely fine if he had simply explained that from the beginning. The misunderstanding itself was never the issue. Unfortunately, Geno’s attitude and customer service skills left a lot to be desired. A simple, polite explanation would have resolved everything in seconds, but instead a very minor issue was turned into an unpleasant interaction. Not the level of service I would expect from The Cosmopolitan.
