in the last weekCan only speak to the coffee, but instantly became my spot for speciality coffee on the strip- properly extracted espresso, well steamed milk… what a joy to finally find in a sea of bad roasts and poor extractions.

in the last week2026.07.13 Passing by Dandelion Chocolate inside the Grand Canal Shoppes, you can immediately tell they offer high-end, artisanal chocolates. As someone who isn't a massive chocolate diehard, I hesitated to walk in at first. However, with about 30 minutes to kill before our dinner reservation at Smith & Wollensky, we decided to check it out—and I am so glad we did! 🍫✨ What makes this place so special is how every bar is clearly labeled with its specific cacao origin and detailed flavor profile. Unlike typical sweet, mass-produced chocolates that feel heavy and sugary, Dandelion relies on high-percentage single-origin cacao, making every bite feel refined, rich, and surprisingly healthy. To draw a wine comparison, it felt like the chocolate equivalent of drinking a fine glass of Caymus—smooth, sophisticated, and deeply memorable. Exploring the different origins and trying tastings was a fantastic experience, and their gift boxes are so elegantly designed that I ended up buying a few to take home. 🍷🎁 Since cacao and coffee share such a natural kinship, I suspected their brew would be impressive as well, so I ordered a shot of espresso. Wow—it was exceptionally clean with a silky, fragrant finish. I found out they intentionally stick to a single, carefully chosen coffee bean variety, which really lets the quality shine through. ☕ The only slight disappointment was that their famous house-made S'more was completely sold out for the day, but that just gives us a great reason to return next time. Whether you are buying gifts or looking to indulge in an extraordinary sweet treat while exploring the mall, this place is a must-visit. An easy 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

a week agoIf there was an option to give a negative star I would have opted for that. The recommendation was house hot chocolate which has no taste at all.
