Came here first time we are locals ordered food the table was dirty asked employee to clean she handed me a wet towel for me to do it. I didn't argue went ahead and cleaned it myself for my family. My girlfriend is a general manager at a food place and she juat looked and said I would have written her up.

I’m a local and come to the Steak ’n Shake inside Fremont Hotel & Casino several times a month, so this review is based on repeated experiences, not just one visit. I recently ordered a regular burger combo with a medium drink and tater tots. The drink and burger were fine, but the tater tots portion was extremely small for the price. They served them on a tiny paper plate that honestly looked more like a kids’ meal portion than a regular side order. For the price charged especially at a casino location where everything already costs more, I expected a much more reasonable portion. I’ve noticed this seems to happen every time I order “for here” instead of taking it to go. The portion sizes feel noticeably smaller when dining in, which is frustrating as a paying customer and regular visitor. Being inside the casino already makes this location more expensive than a normal standalone Steak ’n Shake, so consistency and value matter even more. I like the convenience of this location and I keep coming back because I’m local, but management really needs to address the side portions, especially the tater tots. Customers should get what they’re paying for, whether they dine in or take it to go.

It's Steak & Shake, and it's delicious Open 24/7 as well, can't beat that. Burgers and shakes that taste fantastic, especially after some late night adult beverages.
