a month agoThe food came out quick! Everything is so good—the real crab rangoons are a highlight. They put a lot of crab in so you can really taste it and it feels like it’s worth the price. It’s nice and crispy. The papaya salad and pad thai are great and spiced, not spicy at 3/5. Would probably get a 4/5 next time. The crispy pork belly, spicy chicken wings, and egg rolls are also great. The dino panang is torched table-side and the meat is fall-apart tender. Our server, Kate, was excellent. Would definitely come again!

2 weeks agoWhenever I try a restaurant with a cuisine I know I should be the cultural minority inside the first thing I do is scan the place to see how many of me there are. This doesn’t always correlate but more often than not it does. The guacamole dip at Krok Social ( @kroksocial ) hooked my white ass in. My friend was first to look through the glass and mention there’s no asians eating here. I said, let’s give it a try anyway. I’m always down to explore, you never know what may happen and what you’ll find. The food here was absolutely fire, full of flavor, especially the Khoi Soi, but no lie, their thai version of guacamole dip was the best variation I’ve ever had. Even my friend conceded to that fact, and overall we enjoyed everything about the spot. I’d go back! The morale of this story? You never know what something tastes like unless you try it. I remember my brother visiting China and sending us photos of scorpions on a stick. My mother was begging him not to try them. I told him to dive in. I plan for stomach aches when I travel. I bring Rolaids with me. Be adventurous. YOLO! 🌻💀⏳ #hough2025 #rubyist #aienthusiast #aspiringtriathlete #rewriteyourstory #loveyourlife

a month agoWe dined at this newer restaurant and were impressed by its inviting ambience. The beef jerky was a standout, bursting with flavor and highly enjoyable. The drunken noodles were equally delicious, delivering on taste and satisfaction. The braised beef brisket was another highlight, packed with rich, savory flavors. The pot stickers, however, were just average and didn’t quite match the other dishes' quality. Overall, a great spot with some excellent dishes worth trying!

a month agoOur experience was exceptional. We were seated immediately, accommodating for the extra seats we needed. Our server, Kate, took our order and brought us waters. Shortly after, she brought us our appetizers which were extraordinary compared to other places. They practically brought us a show with our food, preparing our main dishes in front of us. Not to forget that the dishes were way better than the appetizers, having so much flavor, especially with the amount of food given. They were really fast with serving good food, would definitely come back.

a month agoSpent my 41st birthday here!!! It was amazing!!! I love everything! If you ever go there, look for Kate, she took care of us! She’s explained everything as this is our first time. You have to get the krok-cajete, we all devoured it, even the kids. Add the pork belly! I recommend getting the crabzilla fried rice! Their American wagyu crab curry noodle is a must, but if you can’t do spicy maybe ask to go light on the curry sauce, mom was The Dino beef
