2 weeks agoWe were forced to squat at a tatami table after being told we should have asked in advance for a regular table, as they are "reserved for handicapped and senior citizens". How were we supposed to know in advance when we just arrived from another state? And when my wife said, "I'm 74 and he's 83" they made no attempt to move us despite many empty tables when we arrived, during our meal , and when we left. And then the food (steamed gyoza and teriyaki chicken( was more cold than lukewarm, and nowhere near hot. Our server told us it's supposed to be that way because "we are not an Italian restaurant," and I replied this is neither our first nor our fiftieth meal in a Japanese food and we expect sushi to be cold and cooked food to be hot. Very disappointing!
