in the last weekHusband and I went for dinner to this restaurant, we ordered the tomahawk steak and a few sides. Unfortunately the tomahawk was under cooked. We sent it back and came back perfectly. The highlight of the place wasn’t the food. It was the staff. They were lovely! Our waitress Tabitha was fast and attentive. The hostess Hannah was the sweetest. She went above and beyond to help us out. We needed a cab to get back to our hotel and were informed that cabs don’t like coming to the area. We were unaware it wasn’t the best area to be in. And Hannah made sure we made it back safe and sound.

in the last weekWe were so excited to try primal based on all the reviews and honestly we left kind of confused. Our server was very high energy and friendly but not what you would expect from high end steakhouse. We ordered the elk and NY smoked strip with caesar salad and garlic mash. The food was delicious but the shareable portions are normal portions for the Midwest. The restaurant itself is bizarre and the music was loud and completely distracting. Honestly disappointed for overall experience just because it was expensive and gave low end vibes. Also no dress code at all. So casual which was also a surprise. If you are looking for formal steakhouse, id go somewhere else.

in the last weekMy thoughts on the place is it’s very overhyped for the quality of food. The steak was tough and chewy and it was one of their dry aged steaks. Mac & cheese was not that good. The vibe inside the restaurant is pretty cool. The waitress was very attentive. Overall, The place is OK. It’s definitely a one and done. I do believe there’s much better steakhouses out there and for the price of the dinner I would’ve thought it would’ve been a lot better.

in the last weekSo Per Chad's request we have made reservations on March 7, 2026 to celebrate my step mother's 75th birthday! Challenge & Opportunity Presented Chad! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us. Original Review Below.... So my husband has been lobbying for this place for a while. I was not thrilled about going to a Game of Thrones themed restaurant. My snap to judgement nearly cost me a great dining experience. I was 💯% off the mark and completely floored by the food, service, and cocktails. #1. Don't judge a book by its cover. The restaurant is solid, serving some of the best food and cocktails I have had in a while #2. I could only give it a 4 star because it's a steakhouse and has to be compared to the Golden Steer. Otherwise it would have 5 stars. #3. Food & Cocktails - with a flare. The presentation of their dishes and cocktails was over the top. It's what sets this place apart. #4. We sat at the bar for dinner and glad we did. Cocktails are $10 at the bar vs $17 at the table. We had the Medieval Sangria, Crown Jewel, Red Wedding, and Viking Punch. Hands down - the Red Wedding was my favorite not being too sweet and perfectly balanced. #5 The beef carpaccio was superb, the filet mignon was perfectly prepared, paired, and plated. The asparagus was large and perfectly cooked. Lastly was the bread and bacon jam - which was WOW! I highly recommend Primal Steakhouse. It is in my top 4 in Las Vegas - I have to go back and try a few other dishes to give its official ranking.
