Oscar’s Steakhouse

Atmosphere is classic‑Vegas glamour: the décor, lighting, memorabilia, glass dome, etc., give it a nostalgic steakhouse feel. Steak quality is generally praised. Many visitors like the aged or prime cuts, and some say they get good value compared to other high‑end steakhouses. The best sides, mashed potatoes was one in a lifetime experience. However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. For the price you pay, expectations are high — and sometimes they aren’t fully met. My steak was a little drier than I prefer, and one of the starters arrived cold. Also, when it’s busy (especially during happy hour or peaks), the wait times and service consistency can dip. One thing I looked for and didn’t find: clear halal options or halal‑certified meat. If you require halal food, this restaurant likely won’t meet that need (at least from what I could see). No menu item was labeled halal, and there was no indication of halal supply — so I’d recommend calling ahead or choosing a place which explicitly advertises halal if this is important to you. Overall, Oscar’s Steakhouse is a solid choice if you want that upscale Vegas steakhouse feel, great location, and classic décor. Just go in with realistic expectations.

The food was so good, and our server Miguel was great! We got the meatballs, pork belly, for appetizers. (Best meatballs I’ve ever had) For dinner, We got the steak cap, prime rib and the Ribeye with the Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and lobster Mac for sides. (Best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had)

Oh my goodness this was the BEST Steakhouse I've been to in Las Vegas, the service from entering throughout the entire experience was awesome. Gligor the waiter went above and beyond all of the employees we encountered were very accommodating excellent customer service . The food was delicious I can't express you have to come taste for yourself every bite was mouth watering from the drinks to dessert. Thank you Oscars and all who served us I will be back and recommend to everyone.

Everything was wonderful! From the bread on the table, to the meatballs, shrimp cocktail, steak, scallops and dirty martini, we had no complaints. They even brought us an anniversary dessert! 🎁 This was the BEST meal my hubby and I had in a long time! Service was amazing! Atmosphere perfect; we will definitely be back when we return to Vegas! ❤️

I chose Oscar’s inside the Plaza Hotel for my birthday, and the evening could not have been more memorable. Waiting at our table was a birthday card personally signed by the staff—a gracious touch that set a warm, celebratory tone right from the start. The ambiance was classic Vegas elegance: soft lighting, a calm murmur of conversation, and a sweeping view of Fremont Street’s neon canopy through the glass dome. Despite the lively scene outside, the dining room stayed comfortably quiet, perfect for relaxed conversation. Food and service were equally impressive. My New York strip arrived perfectly medium-rare, with a beautiful char and rich, beef-forward flavor. Sides were standout stars in their own right: truffle-oil Brussels sprouts, crisp and aromatic, and a macaroni and cheese so creamy and well-seasoned it instantly became the best I’ve tasted anywhere. Attentive yet unobtrusive servers kept drinks filled and courses well-timed. Between the thoughtful birthday card, free dessert, impeccable cooking, and stellar view, Oscar’s delivered a five-star experience I’ll gladly repeat on future trips to Las Vegas.
