in the last weekGreat stay. The casino is very smoky. Signage is clear that there is no smoking in the hotel but I smelled smoke in the hallway of the 15th floor. Things to note, our hotel room was well appointed and maintained with plenty of space. The refrigerator was a small cube type with a small freezer that did not stay cold. Microwaves are not provided nor available and the coffee maker is a Keurig. The hotel branded coffee pods are decent but only caffeine is provided. Decaffeinated was not placed in our room. There are a lot of discount opportunities if you join the club. Also, the pool and fitness center are both nice. Another side note, spiders will find you outside once the sun sets.

in the last weekJust returned home from the South Point Hotel Casino. Typical Michael Gaughn property. Machines are extremely tight, and area around machines was very very dirty. A lot of the machines I played were very sticky, with food on them. Girls on the floor that are responsible for clean up in the casino, were to busy talking to each other to worry about cleaning up the area. Very rarely if ever do I use a player's club card, as points are pretty much worthless at South Point. Three times over the last month, I have asked a floor person for a casino host, was totally ignored, as no host ever showed up. I was a good customer when Gaughn owned the Orleans, and have now been going to South Point. The machines in this casino, are tighter than the MGM on the strip. CASINO IS A BOTTOMLESS PIT. Today was my last day to go to South Point. The casino was a pig pen today, and no one was even trying to clean it up, and customer service is extremely bad. THE VERY LEAST I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET, IS A CASINO HOST. But floor people at this property are pretty bad, and mostly ignore customers.
