Holiday Inn Express & Suites Henderson, an IHG Hotel

My friends and I encountered unprofessional and biased behavior from the receptionist. The next day, our request to extend our stay was denied without any clear reason. The interaction was cold, arrogant, and, in our opinion, biased. It seemed as if the decision was based on personal attitudes rather than hotel rules. We behaved politely, respected the rules, and were prepared to pay for an extended stay. Instead, we received an unjustified refusal and a bad feeling. A hotel is, first and foremost, about service and respect for guests. If management doesn't monitor employee communication standards, it directly impacts its reputation. I hope the administration will address this situation and work with the staff. We will not return here again and cannot recommend this hotel. While we were standing near reception, we could see that this girl may be nice and kind, but she treats people of a different race.

Excellent service, attentive to customer needs. A superb option on the way to the Grand Canyon.

Rooms are good but make sure you bring an actual plug to charge your devices with. Not all rooms have cord access and when they do it has very slow charge speeds. Staff is efficient. They have a few drive up rooms which was great for my elderly mom. There are several options for food in the area. Breakfast is excellent with non dairy and gluten free options. Monday through Wednesday they offer food in the evening from 5pm to 7pm. The night we were there they had things to make nachos, including chili, and taquitos and salad.
