in the last weekThe bookkeeper "Shell" and the store manager at this location are incapable of doing their job fully. I was charged twice for a transaction. Anytime there's a transaction with a card there's a trace number and an authorization code. An authorization is an approval code. For the two purchases I have two trace numbers and two authorization codes. For the voided purchase, I have a trace number but no authorization code, where that area is, it's blank. Instead of the bookkeeper investigating the trace number and finding out why I never received my funds, she kept saying that it's been refunded when I showed her it hasn't. The bookkeeper should know because their refund did not generate an authorization number the money likely never left the store's possession and was not sent back to the EBT network. The absence of a refund authorization number is a red flag. It's strongly suggests that the refund was not successfully transmitted and approved by the EBT system, even though the stores terminal produced a receipt. This could happen due to a variety of issues such as a system glitch or communication error between the storage terminal and the EBT network. I called a different store and they referred me to the payment center and the payment center listened, pulled up the transaction, and gave me my refund. The store manager at store 4039 and their bookkeeper are horrible people. They shoo'd me away without listening and paying attention. All of them gave the "wait more days" excuse. And if there was an authorization code next to the refund, I would've waited longer. I already waited 3 full business days. I knew it wasn't coming so I took the initiative to finding out the problem since they were incapable. Bookkeeper is so pompous and arrogant that she thinks she can't be wrong when in fact she was.
