Alchemy Coffee

Wanted to try a new coffee spot and saw amazing reviews. Menu had many good looking flavors and food items. Unfortunately the cashier with glasses and a cherry tattoo ruined the experience. I got to the register to order a macchiato with caramel and she asked “how many pumps?” I responded with “how many ounces is the cup?” First time coming here so I didn’t know what the sizes were but instead of telling the sizes of the cups, she proceeded to tell me how a macchiato is made and asked if I wanted it like Starbucks, speaking to me as I’m dumb or something. And I said “ I know how a macchiato is made, I’m just trying to figure out what size the cup is so I can tell you how many pumps.” She blatantly ignored me and proceeded to continue telling me how it was made and then decided to show me the cup after going back n forth. I switched it to a latte to make it simple and ordered a Turkish coffee as well. The coffee is amazing but would’ve liked it if any of the other employees took my order since they looked happy enough to be working there. I get it it’s Thanksgiving but call out next time you don’t want to work a holiday!

Alchemy is such a chic and cozy little gem tucked away in Summerlin. It’s a modern, European inspired cafe known for its beautifully prepared Turkish coffee, but their menu goes far beyond that, offering pastries and Mediterranean-inspired desserts that pair perfectly with any drink. The space itself is intimate, with a charming covered patio outside and a mix of tables, couches, and striking wall art inside. It feels curated, warm, and thoughtfully designed. Their menu may be compact, but it’s mighty. You’ll find specialty drinks, frappes, teas, and all the classic coffee favorites. The food selection really impressed me as well, sandwiches, açaí bowls, breakfast options, and even vegan sandwiches, which I truly appreciated. Of course, we had to try the Turkish coffee. It was beautifully crafted, rich, and bold, and yes, we had a lot of fun reading the cups afterward. For food, my friend ordered the club sandwich and I went with the vegan breakfast sandwich. Both were outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and honestly above expectations for a café. The staff was lovely from start to finish: friendly, warm, and genuinely attentive. Another great find in Summerlin. We’ll absolutely be back.
