Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews

I’m literally bed rest while writing this review. I never thought I’ll get food poisoning from this spot. The burger had me throwing up, I could barely get out of bed. My body was dehydrated and end up with a mild fever. Sucks because I also had to call in sick at work over this BS!

Anya is an awesome bartender and a definite asset to Sickies! She is personable and makes an amazing drink and a reason to come back. I usually see the amazing Cassie, but she was off so Anya took great care of me. Sickies has an amazing burger election and beer selection, and so much more. I have not had a bad meal here yet.

My brother and I took the kids out for an eventful day of going to the indoor playground then taking them to Town Square to ride the train and play at the little park they have. We then decided to have lunch at Sickies to which took 20+ mins for a host to greet and seat us then our server who I unfortunately don’t remember her name otherwise I’d drop it in this review so future customers know who NOT to get as their server. She proceeded to give us the worst possible service I’ve ever experienced! She started off with our drinks which she brought to us in a orderly fashion then began to take our orders which she asked for brother, myself, and my 2 year old nephews order and forgot to ask me what 6 year old and 2 year old wanted which I will take partial blame for not remembering as I was distracted with trying to get my 2 year old situated as he was tired from the day he had. Our order came pretty quickly to which I asked if we took the kids order down and she said “I forgot to ask what they wanted” so my kids had to wait even longer for their food to where my son started falling asleep at the table so I tried to catch the server to make their food to-go and a runner came out with their food and asked to make it to go and with a attitude she said “No, but I can bring you some to go boxes”. Soon after we asked our server for extra boxes and the check and when she brought our check she checked on the table next to us for a second then grabbed our check and didn’t even have time to put a card to pay with, leaves then comes back irritated at us that there wasn’t a card because we were still tryna get our food in to-go boxes. My brother paid with his card and she didn’t even say thank you, have a good day, nothing when she came back with the paid check. Honestly probably never going back here again with how horrible the service was so for all the locals be aware of this place with their service and alright food.

We love sickies. It’s our go to place!!!!! We have family in town and took them for lunch. Staff is always great and the food always amazing.

Friendly server. The lady who seated us was a real peach!
