in the last weekThe restaurant is freezing so bad that you’re shivering the entire time!!! The food was terrible! Branzino had no flavor and no seasoning and was just salty, then when I ordered pasta the pasta was hard like cardboard and it was hard to swallow!!! Besides the food it was so cold you couldn’t even enjoy yourself because your focusing on surviving!

a week agoAlright guys… I post real, honest food reviews. $65 flat for an all you can eat brunch here is pretty cool. Our server was absolutely perfect. The ambiance was quite nice. But when it comes down to it, the food is average at best. The chicken Alfredo was quite tasteless, in fact… and the pasta was simultaneously chewy and hard (pasta isn’t supposed to have that texture folks). The burger was seriously underwhelming. The chicken parm was flat, hard, and again… weirdly chewy and devoid of flavor. The breakfast pizza was boring. The highlights were the risotto and the bread at the beginning of the meal. Again… $65 for literally AYCE, served to your table, was fun… and the ambiance and service were stellar. But I know food. And this food was bland. Was it horrible? No. But it was bland for sure. And anyone who says other doesn’t know good food. Mott 32 was slightly better (they offer a similar deal).

a week agoLAVO was a great experience. very fancy, sophisticated, and definitely a place for a special occasion. We had Margherita pizza, meatballs and spaghetti, and the 20-layer cake. Everything was delicious, and the restaurant really does live up to its reputation. Just be ready for the price tag. Our meal for two came to around $300, so this is not the place to visit when you’re trying to save money. If money were no issue, it would easily be five stars for me. Unfortunately, I’m a broke dusty, so four it is.
