in the last weekI have lived Steak & Shake for years. There isn't one near me, so I always make a point to visit this one when I'm nearby. The service was fantastic, and food was great... Not a single complaint.

in the last weekMy husband and I thought we would grab a quick burger before i'm meeting as shareholders at grand view. The nice lady who escorted us to our table and gave us our menus assured us that it was slow and that the server would be with a shortly. Oddly enough , no one ever came over to service us and take our order. We asked the lady who sat us down is our server going to come? And she said , yes , but no one ever came. What I found I was all the servers with black ties were staring straight at us smiling yet they didn't want to come service us. Eventually my husband and I got up and exited , and as we left , we told them , we're leaving because no one would come in service , and they all started laughing and chatting with each other. It's obvious that they choose to serve who they want for whatever reason. We were the only blacks in the restaurant. 🤷🏾♀️ Pavel was amazingly polite, and he took our order because we just went on to the takeout area and we ordered there. He was very nice to us and he apologized for their nasty behavior. Unfortunately , due to the servers behavior and the poor tasting Frisco melt, (super dry and overcooked) we will not be back.

a month agoRude customer service. If you don’t want customers, then you should be shut down and take your sign down too because I was told I was crazy for standing outside the restaurant waiting to be seated. I reported this to the manager, and the manager didn’t do anything I was told where I need to be seated in order to order my shake, and I can say whatever I want and order my shake I was told I wasn’t allowed to sit at a booth and then I have to sit out the countertop. When I told the Manager this, she said, I can sit wherever I want when I order a shake or food it doesn’t matter. Why are they telling me this? I have been here before I don’t need their explanation. I already know this stop wasting my time. About the person that gave me rude customer service!
