Holiday Inn Express & Suites Henderson South – Boulder City, an IHG Hotel

It was a very nice experience; the facilities and rooms were very clean. The only issue was the breakfast; there was never any food during the three days I was there. They don't provide enough for the number of guests they have.

This place was amazing! I usually stay in Marriott branded hotels like Courtyard, Springhill Suites, or Townplace Suites, but this HolidayInn Express has captured a new believer! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was amazing (no divot from previous guests), the pillows were the perfect mix of supportive but soft, and the bedding was just the right weight and oh so cozy. None of that microfiber crap, this felt like really nice cotton. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will look for HolidayInns in the future. If I could buy their mattress, pillows and sheets, I totally would.

We’ve stayed here twice now, first while visiting the Hoover Dam about a month ago, and again about a week ago for a wedding in Las Vegas and I must say that I was very impressed during both stays with the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of the staff. Particularly of note, there was a young gentleman and young lady working behind the front desk on Nov 25th whose positive attitudes and smiles were downright infectious. They made me feel happier just talking to them and made my family feel so welcome and valued which was great after such a long drive. The hotel itself is fairly standard for what you’d come to expect from the brand if you’ve stayed at others before and that’s a good thing in my opinion as the hotel instantly felt familiar and homey. It is conveniently located between Boulder City, Henderson, and Vegas and nothing you could want to do in the area is a far drive at all. Even if you’re on foot, there’s some entertainment and restaurants right next door. It’s a good place to stay if you’re in the area, fairly priced, well kept, and conveniently located. Another point I’d like to note is that we always felt safe the whole time which is important as we were traveling with young kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my family back here if we were to again be in the area. Thanks again for both nice stays!
